Taking Care of Business

In a minimum security correctional facility in Los Angeles, the inmate Jimmy Dworski is a car thief that is near to be released. He is a fan of the Chicago Cubs and wins two tickets to the final against the California Angels from a radio quiz. However, the Warden does not allow him to leave the facility a few hours earlier to watch the game. Jimmy plots a plan with his fellow inmates simulating that he has been abducted by them in a riot while he flees from the facility to watch the game. Meanwhile, in Chicago, the executive Spencer Barnes is forced by his boss Walter Bentley, who is going to be submitted to a by-pass surgery, to work in the weekend in Los Angeles. He gives instructions to Spencer to stay in his mansion and meet the powerful president of a Japanese food company Sakamoto with the purpose of winning his account. However, in the airport, Spencer loses his Filofax and Jimmy finds it, assumes his identity and follows his instincts and honesty in the meetings with Sakamoto.
