The young doctor Masha Roshchina for a long time did not want to introduce her chosen one, cosmonaut Andrey Izotov, to mom and dad, especially dad. Masha's father is police lieutenant colonel Dmitry Roshchin, and Masha's chosen one cannot stand law enforcement officers and treats them with irony bordering on hatred. The meeting of parents and Andrey as a result takes place right in the wedding palace, and the wedding breaks down. Masha sets a condition: the future husband and father must get along. Andrey, who loves a girl, gets a job as an intern in the police and, together with Lieutenant Colonel Roshchin, rushes in pursuit of the criminal Taktarov, who stole the American diplomat Harrison. The criminals manage to leave St. Petersburg, the case becomes international, and now all police forces are sent to catch the adventurer who is holding the diplomat. Taktarov rides south, ahead of the pursuers and those who run away are endless fun adventures. The adventurous crime comedy shows the clash of different cultures and different generations, which results in an absurd mess.
